OLD BUILDINGS & BARNS OF CHEROKEE

Old farm home and barns are disappearing rapidly all
across the south. This is especially true in Cherokee
country.  I am trying to photograph all the old farm
building I can find.

I need your help. As you travel the county lanes around-a- bout
Cherokee, let me know of anything you spot. You can reach me
with a note at the bottom of this blog or by email.
k4auk@bellsouth.net.

 Think you. hope you enjoy.

The truck above was owned by Mr. Junior Frix.  He operated an earth moving business
and later converted to a dumpster business. He was killed last year by his pet deer.
What a way to go!

This  barn and surrounding farm equipment and old trucks and cars is located in Lumpkin
county near Turners Corner.
